DMC Maternal/Pregnant Women's Health Bot

Evertything You Need to Know

We are excited to work with the REAN Foundation to create a bot that will make it simple for our patients to monitor the status of their pregnancy and receive information about diet, exercise, and mental well-being to support them all through the pregnancy. Our team at REAN has contributed the technology know-how and domain expertise to create a user-friendly platform that will benefit doctors and nurses and raise patient participation.

Dayanand Medical College & Hospital (DMCH)

The institution is housed in an imposing complex of modern buildings and is outfitted with all the necessary modern amenities to provide excellent care to patients as well as training to UG and PG students. Challenges Faced
Each day, approximately 800 women who are either pregnant or have just had a delivery, die. The well being of the children who survive is threatened in the process.

Around 90% of pregnancy- or childbirth-related deaths in underdeveloped and developing countries are found in the records. The majority of women typically pass away as a result of improper abortions, obstructed labour, eclampsia, severe bleeding, infections, and other conditions.

Simple, cost-effective procedures that can be applied with minimal resources can stop a large percentage of maternal deaths. The following are the essential actions needed to enhance maternal and neonatal health:

  • Exposure to planning a family, which includes: resources, services and lots of counseling
  • Access to high-quality maternity and delivery care
  • Prenatal care and birth attendance, including neonatal and obstetric emergency care for infants and mothers

REAN Solution

In order to strengthen their self-care abilities and confidence when practising preventative health behaviour, pregnant women require health information. Despite their desire, pregnant women frequently encounter barriers when trying to get health information. Dayanand Medical College and REAN Foundation have jointly created a user-friendly bot that will track a woman's pregnancy according to the date of her last menstruation cycle and provide her with individualized information, resources, and support throughout her pregnancy.

The bot will offer the following assistance:
Users will receive regular notifications about dietary supplements and nutrition.
Pregnant women can take guidance on precautions to consider, and the bot will send periodic reminders for vaccinations.
Pregnancy information will be offered in the user's chosen language.

For people who don't prefer typing, the audio chat will also be provided for FAQs.
When users require more in-depth information, they can connect with a professional.
